Why do brown people think they're exempt from ignorance?

Im just curious. I've been rejected by brown women (excluding blacks) for being a white guy. But if I were to reject someone for being brown, it'd be the goddamn crime of the century. A white racist! Can anybody see the double standards in this? And it wasn't some chick I approached and just got rejected. I actually knew her, and she knew that I had a crush on her. Is it crab in a barrel syndrome with brown people? Afraid to do something that's not expected of your people because you're ALL the f*cking same? Ya can't say I didn't have a right to be mad, everybody's been rejected for their color at some time, right?
