Anyone like Saranac beer?

What's that taste that they all share? The Bavarian black, Brown Ale, Adirondack Lager (only 3 I have tried) all have a similar taste which I do not like. I like trying different beers but I've tasted a few different beers (even from different breweries) with a similar taste that I did not at all like and want to know what I'm watching out for here...
